The denomination's global health program has reached a major milestone, providing health education, clean water, and disease prevention to communities across Africa.
The Abundant Health initiative of the General Board of Global Ministries has reached a significant milestone: 1 million people served through health education, clean water projects, and disease prevention programs across sub-Saharan Africa.
"This milestone belongs to the thousands of volunteers and health workers who made it possible," said Dr. Olusimbo Ige, executive director of Global Health at Global Ministries. "But our work is far from done."
