New Church Planting Initiative Launches Across Five Conferences

Five annual conferences have partnered to launch an ambitious church planting initiative that aims to establish 25 new faith communities in underserved urban and rural areas over the next three years.

The initiative, funded through a combination of conference resources and Discipleship Ministries grants, will train church planters, provide startup funding, and offer ongoing coaching and support.

"We believe God is calling us to go where the church isn't yet," said Bishop Maria Santos, who is coordinating the initiative. "These new communities will look different from traditional congregations — and that's the point."
